Help for Kkumi on Google Play. Most questions are answered below — for anything else, we read and answer every email. (Using Kkumi on iPhone? See Kkumi Support.)
Common Questions
- Where is my work kept? On your phone, in Kkumi’s own private storage. Nothing is uploaded, so uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it, and it does not move to a new device. Save anything you want to keep to your gallery.
- Why does the app never ask for photo permission? It does not need one. Kkumi uses the Android system photo picker, which runs outside the app and hands back only the photos you tapped. The app cannot see the rest of your gallery.
- Background removal is not working well. It works best on photos where the subject stands out clearly from the background. If it fails, the original photo is used as it is, so try a different one. All of the processing happens on your device.
- What does premium open? It lifts the cap on the number of slides, removes the watermark from exports, and adds the premium templates and fonts. The exact list is shown on the paywall before you subscribe.
- Where do exported images go? They are saved to your device’s gallery, or handed through the share sheet to whichever app you pick.
Restoring a Purchase
- Check that the device is signed in to the Google account you bought with.
- Open the app and use Restore Purchases.
- If it still does not apply, check that Google Play lists the subscription as active, then email us the order number.
Managing or Cancelling Your Subscription
Kkumi subscriptions are billed by Google Play, so they are cancelled there.
- Open the Google Play app → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Tap Kkumi, then Cancel subscription. You can also switch between the weekly and yearly plan from the same screen.
- Cancelling takes effect from the next renewal; access continues until the period you already paid for runs out.
- Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription — you have to cancel it in Google Play.
Promo Codes, Orders, and Refunds
- Redeem a promo code: Google Play app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Redeem code, then reopen Kkumi.
- See your orders: Google Play app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & order history.
- Request a refund: use the same order history screen, or go to play.google.com/store/account. Refunds follow the Google Play refund policy — Pentarab cannot issue them directly.
Removing Your Data
You can delete individual pieces of work inside the app. To remove everything at once, uninstall Kkumi or clear its data from Android Settings > Apps > Kkumi > Storage. There is no copy on a server, so that is the end of it.
