What it is
CardForm is a business card designer, not a card scanner and not a digital contact page. You enter your details once, pick how the card should be printed, and leave with a file a printer can use — or a sheet you can run off on the printer in the next room.
The designs come from printed cards rather than from web style names: one ink on good stock, a two-tone duplex board, foil on black, a letterpress bite, a red seal in the corner of a meishi. A printer would recognise every shelf in the browser, because the shelves are the questions a printer asks first.
The catalogue
44
printing styles
352
designs
60
typefaces
3
card sizes
Styles are shelved by what the card is printed on, how the type is set, how the ink goes on, and what device sits beside the type. Each one holds eight designs — variations of a single printed idea, not the same layout in eight colours.
A template is a starting point
Move anything
Drag any line anywhere on the card. The template stops arranging and starts holding what you decided, and one tap puts its arrangement back.
Set it in any face
Tap a line to open its own controls: size in print points, sixty typefaces shown in themselves, letter-spacing, capitals, alignment, and the ink it prints in.
Your logo, in its corner
Every design reserves a corner for a mark. Drop yours in and it appears on all of them — printed in the card's own ink like a stamp, or in its own colours, or large behind the type as a watermark.
Front and back
Both sides are designed, and both sides export. The back carries the material of the card without repeating the front's furniture.
From screen to paper
Enter your details once
Name, role, business, phone, email, website, and an address you can find on a map. They belong to you rather than to any one card, so every design fills itself in.
Pick a design
Browse by paper, type, process, or device — or take the shuffle and see what it hands you.
Make it yours
Move the type, change the faces and the ink, add your logo, write the back.
Print it
A print-ready PDF at trim with bleed and crop marks for a printer, or a full sheet of cards with cut guides for the printer at home.
Where your data lives
On your phone. CardForm has no account and no server. Your details, your logo and your cards are stored on the device and nowhere else, which also means deleting the app deletes them and we cannot get them back for you.
- No account, no sign-in, no upload.
- Cards are drawn on the device — there is no rendering service.
- The optional address search uses Apple Maps. CardForm never asks for your location; the map opens on a fixed area and you move it by hand.
- No ads, no advertising identifier, no cross-app tracking.
CardForm Premium
The whole catalogue is open, and so is every control: browse all 352 designs, move the type, change the faces, add your logo, and share a card as an image with a small watermark.
Premium removes the watermark and unlocks the print path — the print-ready PDF with bleed and crop marks, and the imposed sheet for a home printer. It is a subscription, offered weekly or yearly, and it is the same set of features either way.
