Privacy Policy

Pentarab built Pulse, a temporal video camera for iPhone. The short version is simple: your camera feed and recorded clips stay on your device. Pulse does not upload your media and does not require an account.

Pulse asks for camera access to show and record the live effect preview. It asks for microphone access so recorded videos can include sound. Camera frames, microphone audio, temporal effect history, and rendered clips are processed locally on your iPhone.

• Your live camera feed is never transmitted to Pentarab or a third party.
• Your microphone audio is used only in the video you choose to record.
• You can deny microphone access and record silent videos.
• You can change camera and microphone permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Pulse requests add-only Photos access when you choose to save a finished clip. When you tap Share or Instagram Stories, iOS and the destination app handle the transfer you requested. Their privacy policies apply after the clip leaves Pulse.

Pulse uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect pseudonymous usage information, such as screens viewed, effects selected, and whether an export completed, together with a Firebase app-instance identifier. Analytics never includes camera frames, audio, recorded clips, or information that directly identifies you.

Optional Pulse Pro subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple. Pentarab does not receive or store your payment card details. Pulse checks your App Store entitlement to unlock Pro features and supports restoring purchases through Apple.

• Pulse has no account, sign-up, profile, or social messaging system.
• Pulse contains no third-party advertising.
• Pulse does not access the advertising identifier and does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
• Pulse does not sell personal information or share it with data brokers.

Pulse does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It has no accounts, public posting, messaging, or advertising.

If Pulse changes how it handles information, this policy and its date will be updated before that change ships.
