These terms cover your use of Korio. Using the app means you accept them.

A study app for learning Korean, organised by the six TOPIK levels. It teaches the alphabet, a graded vocabulary of 10,635 words, the standard pronunciation rules and Korean grammar. It is a learning tool, not a qualification: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to TOPIK, the National Institute for International Education, or 국립국어원, and finishing anything in it does not confer a TOPIK score or certificate.

• TOPIK I — levels 1 and 2, 1,835 words with audio — is open from the start, along with two of the pronunciation rules and a working preview of the grammar module. The App Store shows the current price of the app itself.
• Korio Pro opens levels 3 to 6, the remaining pronunciation rules, the whole grammar module and unlimited daily practice.
• Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple Account. It renews at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before, and you can manage or cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device.
• Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com — we cannot issue them ourselves.

The graded word and grammar lists come from 국립국어원 and are used under KOGL Type 1 with attribution; the licence permits commercial use. The English meanings, example sentences, translations, explanations and audio were made for this app and belong to Pentarab. You may use all of it to learn Korean. You may not scrape, redistribute or resell the app’s content.

• Pronunciation scoring uses Apple’s speech recognition and is an aid, not a verdict. It can be wrong, particularly in noise.
• The pronunciation and conjugation engines follow the standard rules and say so where they cannot be certain — the app shows nothing rather than a guess. Two rules are not implemented and the app lists them.
• Korio is provided as-is. We do not guarantee it is uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Continuing to use the app means accepting the update.
