Privacy Policy

Pentarab built DripLine as a paid app with no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how your privacy is protected.

DripLine keeps your data on your device. Your timers, the names, rooms and notes you attach to them, and your settings are stored only on your iPhone and are never uploaded to our servers. There is no account and no sign-up.

To help us improve the app, DripLine sends pseudonymous usage analytics to Google. This never includes timer names, rooms, notes, or any patient information. See the Analytics section below.

The app stores the following information locally on your device:

• Infusion timers you start, including their calculated rate and end time
• Any name, room or note you choose to attach to a timer
• Custom drop factors you add, and the values you used last
• App settings and preferences

Deleting the app removes this data from your device. You can also delete everything at any time from Settings → Delete all data.

If you allow notifications, DripLine schedules a local alert for when an infusion is due to finish. The alert is created on your device and includes the timer name you set, so that you can recognise it. If you decline notifications, no alert is scheduled and no notification data leaves your device.

Apple Watch sharing is off until you turn it on. When enabled, you choose whether the Watch shows nothing, a redacted timer, or the timer name. Data sent to a paired Watch travels directly between your own devices.

DripLine uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which screens are used and whether core actions succeed. Events are pseudonymous and describe app usage only — for example that a rate was calculated or a timer was started. We never send timer names, rooms, notes, patient identifiers, or the values you entered.

No advertising identifier is collected. DripLine does not link to the AdSupport framework and does not track you across apps or websites.

We do not sell, rent or share your information. Apart from the pseudonymous analytics described above, no data leaves your device.

DripLine is a professional tool intended for clinicians. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

DripLine is a calculation aid. It does not control pumps or clinical equipment and does not measure actual flow. Always verify the order, the patient, the device and the rate using your organisation's process.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new revision date.
