These terms cover the Android version of Bori distributed on Google Play. The iOS version has separate terms — see Bori Terms of Use. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms.
License
Pentarab grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use Bori for personal, non-commercial purposes on Android devices you own or control. The Google Play Terms of Service apply alongside these terms.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app, its case scenarios, its illustrations, or its puzzles. All intellectual property rights belong to Pentarab.
Subscription
Five cases are free to play; the rest are opened by the full-access subscription. It is an auto-renewing subscription billed through Google Play Billing.
- You can choose weekly or yearly. The price and the billing period are shown in the app before you confirm any purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; the renewal price is charged to your Google Play account.
- To cancel, open the Google Play app → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Bori → Cancel subscription.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the period you already paid for runs out.
- Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
- On a device signed in to the same Google account, Settings → Restore Purchases reapplies the subscription.
- Payments and refunds are handled by Google in accordance with the Google Play refund policy.
Refunds
All payments are processed by Google through Google Play. Refund requests are handled by Google in accordance with the Google Play refund policy. Pentarab cannot issue refunds directly.
Leaderboard and Conduct
Scores that go on the leaderboard have to come from actually playing. You may not tamper with the app, use automation tools to manufacture and submit scores, or otherwise distort the leaderboard. Entries made that way may be deleted without notice.
About the Content
The cases and characters in Bori are entirely fictional. They bear no relation to real events or real people. Solving them is entertainment and thinking practice — it is not a diagnosis or an assessment of any cognitive ability.
Updates
The app may require updates to continue functioning. Pentarab may modify or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.
Disclaimer
Bori is provided "as is". Pentarab makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the app's accuracy, reliability, or suitability for any particular purpose. Because your progress is stored only on your device, Pentarab is not responsible for records lost through a lost device or an uninstall.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
