Pentarab built Wobble, an app that lets you draw a loop around part of a photo and make it jiggle like jelly. This Privacy Policy explains what information Wobble handles. The short version: your photos never leave your device, and the only thing Wobble reports is pseudonymous usage analytics, described below.
Your Photos Stay On Your Device
The photo you pick or shoot, the region you draw, the jiggle simulation, the video it records, and the clips you save are all processed and stored entirely on your iPhone. Wobble has no photo upload — your images are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
- No account, sign-up, name, email, or login of any kind.
- No AI or cloud processing — the jiggle is a physics simulation that runs on your device.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifier (IDFA), so no tracking prompt is shown.
- Your photos and recorded clips are never transmitted off your device by the app.
Analytics
To understand how the app is used and to improve it, Wobble uses Google Firebase Analytics. This collects pseudonymous usage data — such as which screens you view and which features you use — along with a device-level identifier (a Firebase app-instance ID).
This data is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, is not linked to your personal identity, and is not shared with data brokers. It never includes your photos or your clips. Analytics is processed by Google — see Google's Privacy Policy.
Purchases
Wobble is free to use. An optional one-time purchase, Wobble Pro, removes the watermark from exports and unlocks the jelly presets and hand-tuning the jelly. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store — Pentarab never sees or stores your payment details.
Camera and Photo Library Access
Wobble asks for camera access only when you choose to take a photo, and for photo library access only when you choose to pick one. iOS shows you these prompts, and you can change your answer at any time in Settings. The image you provide is used solely to render the effect inside the app.
Clips you save stay in Wobble's own storage on your device. Deleting a clip in the app removes it, and deleting the app removes everything it stored.
When You Choose to Share
If you tap Share, iOS presents its standard share sheet and you decide where your clip goes — Messages, Instagram, saving to Photos, or anywhere else. That transfer is performed by iOS and the app you pick, not by Wobble, and it only ever happens because you asked for it. Once a clip reaches another app or service, that destination's own privacy policy applies to it.
Children
Wobble does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app has no accounts, no messaging, and no ads, and the usage analytics described above are pseudonymous and not linked to any identity.
Changes to This Policy
If Wobble ever gains a feature that handles data differently, this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and the date above will change.
