Privacy Policy

Pentarab built the 1% Habit app with a free tier and an optional non-consumable "Pro" in-app purchase that unlocks premium features. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how your privacy is protected.

1% Habit keeps your personal data on your device. Your routines, your completed reps, your history, and your settings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. There is no account and no sign-up.

To help us improve the app, 1% Habit sends pseudonymous usage analytics to Google — this never includes your routines or your records. See the Analytics section below.

The app stores the following information locally on your device:

• Your routines (name, color, emoji)
• Completed 15-minute reps and their times
• App settings and preferences
• History and statistics derived from your reps

All of this is stored using iOS secure storage and is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app. 1% Habit does not use iCloud, so your data is never synced to the cloud.

If you use the Apple Watch app, your routines and today's reps are exchanged directly between your own iPhone and your own Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity. This communication stays between your paired devices — it does not pass through Pentarab's servers.

Premium features are unlocked through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("Pro") offered via the Apple App Store. There is no subscription. All payments and billing are processed by Apple — Pentarab does not receive or store your payment card details, Apple ID, or billing address.

To validate your purchase, the app communicates with Apple's StoreKit. We may receive an anonymous transaction identifier from Apple solely to confirm your entitlement; this identifier is not linked to your personal identity.

To understand how the app is used and to improve it, 1% Habit uses Google Firebase Analytics. This collects pseudonymous usage data — such as which screens you view and which features you use — along with a device-level identifier (a Firebase app-instance ID). Your routines and personal records are never included.

This data is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, is not linked to your personal identity, and is not shared with data brokers. 1% Habit does not collect the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), so no tracking prompt is shown, and the app contains no ads. Analytics is processed by Google — see Google's Privacy Policy.

If you allow notifications, 1% Habit schedules a gentle local reminder when a 15-minute rep finishes. These notifications are scheduled on your device and are not sent from, or recorded by, our servers.

Other than the analytics described above, 1% Habit does not integrate advertising or cross-app tracking services. Purchase processing is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy.

You have complete control over your data:

• Your routines and records stay on your device
• You can delete routines and reset everything in the app
• Uninstalling the app removes all on-device data permanently
• No cloud sync means no data recovery after deletion

1% Habit does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app stores only the routine data you create, on your own device.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
