NovelDesk is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application. We believe in transparency and want you to understand that NovelDesk is designed with privacy at its core.

NovelDesk does not collect personally identifiable information. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or contact information
• Your writing content or manuscripts
• Account credentials or login information
• Your precise location

To improve the app, NovelDesk does collect pseudonymous usage analytics, which include a device-level identifier (a Firebase app-instance ID). This is described in the Analytics section below. It is not used to track you and is not linked to your personal identity.

All of your creative work—including your writing, characters, world-building notes, and settings—is stored locally on your device. Your creative content never leaves your computer and is not accessible to us or any third parties.

You maintain complete control over your data. You can export, back up, or delete your content at any time through the application's built-in tools.

To understand how the app is used and to improve it, NovelDesk uses Google Firebase Analytics. This collects pseudonymous usage data — such as which screens you view and which features you use — along with a device-level identifier (a Firebase app-instance ID).

This data is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, is not linked to your personal identity, and is not shared with data brokers. NovelDesk does not collect the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), so no tracking prompt is shown. Analytics is processed by Google — see Google's Privacy Policy.

No content from your writing or personal projects is ever included in this analytics data.

NovelDesk uses Google Firebase Analytics to process the pseudonymous usage data described above, under Google's own privacy policy. We do not share, sell, or rent any data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes, and we do not share data with data brokers.

Since all your creative content is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's security measures. We recommend:

• Keeping your operating system and NovelDesk up to date
• Using device encryption and secure passwords
• Regularly backing up your work to secure locations

NovelDesk does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from users under the age of 13. Since we do not collect information that identifies you personally, the application can be used by writers of all ages while maintaining their privacy.

Because we do not collect information that identifies you personally, there is no personal data for us to access, modify, or delete. You have complete control over all data stored locally on your device and can:

• Export your writing and projects at any time
• Delete individual projects or all data through the app
• Uninstall NovelDesk to remove all local data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. Any updates will be posted within the application and on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Significant changes will be communicated through the application or our website at least 7 days before they take effect.
