Pentarab built Kkumi for photo collages and for decorating a diary. Kkumi works without an account and without a server: the photos you pick and the edits you make are handled entirely on your device.
What We Collect
Kkumi does not collect information that identifies you. It does not ask for or collect your name, email address, contact details, precise location, or an advertising identifier, and no account is needed. The app contains no advertising SDK.
It does collect anonymous usage statistics so the app can be improved. See “Analytics” below for the details.
Analytics
To see which screens are viewed and which features are used, so that the app can be improved, Kkumi sends usage events to an analytics service that Pentarab runs itself. It is not Google Analytics, and the data is not passed on to any third party. The events carry an install identifier — a random value the app generates on first launch, not derived from your device. The photos you import and the edits you make are not sent this way.
This information is not linked to your identity, is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and is not provided to data brokers. Because the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not requested, no tracking consent prompt is shown. The receiving server records a country from the connection itself — the app never sends it — and does not store your IP address.
Photos and Your Edits
- Only the photos you pick yourself are brought into the app.
- Cropping, background removal, compositing stickers and text, and exporting all happen on the device.
- Photos, edit documents, and finished images are never uploaded to a Pentarab server or to any third-party server.
- A finished image is written to the iOS photo library only when you choose to save it.
Deleting the app also deletes the edit data stored inside it. Finished images you saved separately to the photo library stay yours to manage in the Photos app.
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The Kkumi premium subscription is sold through the Apple App Store and StoreKit. Payment, refunds, and subscription status are handled by Apple, and Pentarab does not receive or store your card details, your Apple ID, or your billing address.
Device Permissions
- Reading the photo library — used when you pick a photo to decorate.
- Adding to the photo library — used when you ask to save a finished result.
A permission is requested only when you use the feature that needs it, and you can change it at any time in iOS Settings.
Tracking and Advertising
Kkumi shows no ads and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. It does not request the IDFA, so no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown.
Children's Privacy
Kkumi does not collect personal information. If a guardian has a question about a child's use of the app, please let us know at the address below.
Changes to This Policy
If the way the app handles data changes, we update this page first and show the revision date.
