Need help with Gwansang? Most questions are answered below — and for anything else, we read and answer every email.
Common Questions
- Does my photo leave the phone? No. Face detection, measurement and every reading run on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded, and the original photo is never stored — only a small thumbnail you can erase at any time.
- How do I delete a saved face or its photo? Open the 관상 tab, tap the ⋯ button at the top right, and choose to remove just the photo or delete the face entirely. Settings also has a single control that erases everything the app has stored.
- Why was my photo rejected? The reading needs a clear, front-facing face that fills enough of the frame. The camera screen tells you which of those is missing while you frame the shot — too far, too close, off centre, or turned away.
- What are tickets? A ticket opens one in-depth reading (character, wealth, love or work), one compatibility pairing, or one face profile beyond the third. Anything you open stays open for that photo.
- I bought tickets but they are missing on a new device. Open Settings and tap 구매 복원 (Restore Purchases). Tickets are consumable purchases billed through your Apple ID.
- How do I request a refund? Purchases are billed by Apple. Open Settings → your name → Media & Purchases on your iPhone to see your history; refunds are handled at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Is the reading a prediction? No. Gwansang is entertainment built on traditional Korean physiognomy. It describes how a face reads in that tradition — it does not predict events, diagnose anything, or judge ability.
