Privacy Policy

Gwansang reads faces. That makes this the most important page on the site, so it is short and specific: your photos and face measurements never leave your device.

• Photos. Face detection and landmark measurement run entirely on your iPhone using Apple’s on-device Vision framework. Photos are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
• The original photo is not stored at all. Only a downsized thumbnail is kept so you can recognise the profile, and you can delete that on its own at any time.
• Face measurements and readings. The twenty-one measurements, the element and animal classifications, and every unlocked report live in the app’s local database on your device.
• Deleting a face, deleting its photo, or using “erase everything” in Settings removes that data from your device immediately. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Anonymous usage analytics, so we can see which screens people reach and where the app is failing them. These events describe actions, never content:

• Which screens are opened, and which readings are unlocked.
• Whether a capture passed or failed the quality check, and which reason it failed for — this is how the camera guidance gets better.
• App version, device model and OS version.
• No photos, no face measurements, no reading text, and no name you type for a profile are ever included.

Analytics are processed by Google Analytics for Firebase. Purchases are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.

Gwansang is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

• Camera and photo access are asked for only when you use them, and can be revoked in iOS Settings at any time.
• Settings → 저장된 얼굴 데이터 모두 삭제 erases every face, photo and unlock record the app holds.
• Because nothing is stored on our servers, there is no account to close and no export to request.
