Pentarab built Fandi, a planner for keeping your fan life in one place — schedules and countdowns, what you spend, the photocards you make, and a shareable recap. This Privacy Policy explains what Fandi handles and the choices you have.
The short version: Fandi keeps your data on your device. There is no Fandi account, no server that stores what you write, and nothing to log in to.
What Stays On Your Device
Everything you enter is written to local storage on your iPhone and is never uploaded to Pentarab. That includes:
- The faves you add — names, colors, emoji, photos, and dates. These are your own words and images; Fandi ships no artist names, logos, or official photos, and has no idea who you are a fan of.
- Events, countdowns, repeat rules, and reminder settings.
- Everything in the spending ledger, including amounts, categories, and notes.
- Photocards: the photo you bring, the cut-out subject, the frame and foil you choose, and any note you write on the back.
- Event recaps, including photos and text.
Deleting the app removes all of it. Because nothing is stored on our side, we cannot recover it for you afterwards.
Photos
When you add a photocard or a recap photo, Fandi reads the image you pick and, if you ask it to, separates the subject from its background. That work happens entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework. Your photos are not uploaded anywhere, are not sent to any AI service, and are not used to train anything.
Fandi asks for camera access only if you choose to shoot a card, and for photo-library access only when you pick or save an image. You can decline either and keep using the app.
What Leaves Your Device — Only When You Ask
- Sharing. When you share a card, a binder page, or a Wrapped recap, Fandi renders an image and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is your choice, and is governed by whichever app you send it to.
- Sharing a schedule. A shared schedule is packed into the link itself — there is no server involved and nothing is uploaded. Anyone you send the link to can read the events in it, so only share it with people you mean to.
- Importing a schedule. Opening a shared link shows you what it contains; nothing is added until you confirm.
Analytics
Fandi uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which screens and features are used, so we can improve the app. This collects anonymous usage events — for example that a card was created or a screen was opened — along with the standard device and app information Firebase gathers, such as device model, OS version, app version, and coarse region.
It never includes the contents of your data: no fave names, no event titles, no amounts, no photos, and no notes. Fandi does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not show ads, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Subscriptions & Billing
Fandi Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store. All payment and billing is handled by Apple — Pentarab never receives or stores your payment card details, Apple Account, or billing address. Whether your subscription is active is determined on your device from Apple's StoreKit records.
Children
Fandi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the app requires no account and stores nothing on our servers, we hold no personal information to delete.
Your Choices
- Delete anything at any time inside the app, or remove all of it by deleting the app.
- Turn notifications, camera, and photo access on or off in iOS Settings.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date above. Continuing to use Fandi after a change means you accept the updated policy.
